Cookies Policy

The short version

CountIn itself sets no cookies.
It keeps a few items in your browser's own storage so the app works: your library, your access key and your choices. These need no consent.
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity cookies are used only after you click Accept on the cookie banner. There are no advertising cookies.

1. Storage the app needs

These items are kept in your browser (localStorage and IndexedDB), never sent to others, and needed for features you use. They require no consent.

2. Visit statistics without cookies

Our own visit counter stores nothing in your browser. It uses a random identifier that lives only for the page view. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

We use Google Consent Mode: until you accept, analytics storage stays off, and Google may receive only cookieless signals without identifiers. Microsoft Clarity is not loaded at all until you accept.

4. Pages and content from others

Payment page. When you buy, you go to a page run by Stripe, which sets its own cookies on its own domain for security and fraud prevention. See Stripe's cookie policy.
Videos. Some pages embed YouTube videos in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube stores data in your browser only once you play a video.
Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which sets no cookies.

5. Change your choice

This button forgets your answer to the cookie banner and removes the Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity cookies from this browser. The banner appears again on your next visit to the home page.

You can also block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings (in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge under Privacy or Site settings). Clearing site data also removes your library and your access key from that browser; your access link in the purchase email restores access.
