What audio formats are supported?
CountIn supports MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, and OGG files, which covers the common formats for backing tracks. Files can be up to 100 MB.
How accurate is the BPM detection?
Our BPM detection analyzes up to 60 seconds of audio for high accuracy. You can always manually adjust the BPM if needed.
Do I need to create an account?
No account needed. Just upload a track and start working. After you buy, you get a unique access link by email.
How do the plans work?
Stage and Click are yearly plans that renew until you cancel, which you can do any time from the app; access runs to the end of the paid year. Lifetime is one payment for everything in Click, for as long as CountIn operates. Your access link keeps working either way.
Is my audio private?
Yes. Preview processing happens locally in your browser. Server uploads are only for export and are deleted after processing.
Can I process multiple tracks?
Yes. Upload and process as many tracks as you need. Every plan has unlimited exports.
Can the audience hear the count-in?
That is your choice. A Mixed export plays the count wherever the track plays, like a drummer's stick count. A Split export puts the count-in on its own channel, so only the band's in-ears hear it. What each export produces, and which one you need.
What is the click track, and who hears it?
A click through the whole song for the drummer, following the song's own beats, with beat one tuned higher. It always exports as Split: click and count-in on the left channel, the song in mono on the right, so the drummer hears the click and the audience hears only the song. You can hear it on your own track for free; exporting it is the Click plan.
Is it called a count-in or a count-off?
Both mean the same thing: the count that sets the tempo before a song starts, like a drummer clicking 1-2-3-4 so the band comes in together. CountIn adds one to any backing track, ending right on beat one.
